Apprentice Plumber

Job Description:  This position will allow you to learn the skills to assemble and install plumbing, hydronic and med gas systems to include but not limited to all types of plumbing and heating piping, med gas piping, refrigeration, hydraulics and high and low pressure steam.  You will receive paid on the job training while learning a trade.  Additional apprenticeship classes will be offered so that you can successfully complete your training. Some overtime may be required. Hours may vary per job depending on the demands and requirements of the project.

Requirements:

• Maintain/Apply for apprenticeship license in all cities and states you are performing work in.
• No experience required but being mechanically inclined will be helpful.
• Team oriented.
• Reliable transportation.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to navigate hazards of new construction worksites. This will include uneven surfaces, floor openings, construction debris, poor lighting, heights and extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and operate power tools, often overhead.
• Have the ability to independently lift and carry objects that weigh up to 20 pounds routinely, 50 pounds frequently, and 80 pounds occasionally.
• Operate and work from scissor lift, scaffolding or ladders in high spaces.
• Able to work on knees and confined spaces at times.
